The gite has been called the Panda Gite by the WWF.
This is a recognition of the quality of the environment around the gite and our operational methods which are respectful of nature.
At the Gite, you will find all the equipment needed to help you discover the surrounding nature.
Le Retord in summer :
The gite is in the south of the Jura Mountains, walking country. Leaving the gite, on Le Retord you will find many possibilities for walks, hacks on horseback, cycle rides: Trails from 1 hour to 1 day (maps available on loan)
Special features of the Plateau du Retord:
A well equipped biathlon stadium allowing you to try roller skis and shooting
The gite is very well-placed if you like caving: the Gouffre de la Bauche and Michel Galice network are accessible on foot from the gite.
